DR. HEIDI BROCKE
As a Toxic Relationship Awareness & Healing Specialist, Dr Heidi Brocke has turned her past into her passion as she provides hope, healing, and freedom to those whose lives have been affected by toxic relationships and emotional abuse. A 1997 graduate as a Doctor of Chiropractic, Dr Heidi has served in healthcare for over 22 years. She uses her life experience and her education to be the person she needed when she herself was trapped in the darkness of an unhealthy relationship.
Autumn Adamiak is a chemical, mechanical, & nuclear engineer that transitioned into a successful entrepreneur and owner of Club Pilates Wexford. Her passion for helping people and desire to make a difference in the world through health and wellness, lead her to pursue business ownership about 2 years ago. She loves helping her clients achieve mind & body transformations through Pilates, while gaining the most fulfillment from empowering others to find their inner self-confidence.
ANNA MARIE MINDICINO
Anna Marie Mindicino actively makes her community a brighter, smarter place through teaching music and art at Bottle Tree Creative Arts House, a creative arts learning center that she opened in 2012. She has shared her passions and has taught thousands of people of all ages, from newborns in Kindermusik classes, to octogenarians in Painting Parties.
She founded Do Good. Period., a nonprofit to uplift women and promote dignity by providing menstrual products to those in need in 2017. To date, her efforts have resulted in donating over 100,000 menstrual products to local women.
Anna Marie is an active Rotarian and started Rotary After Dark for young professionals to experience the magic of Rotary, advocates and celebrates her community by sitting on the Lawrence Mercer ATHENA board, AWARE Inc. board, and the Shirley Bursey House board, and on her spare time, you’ll find her hanging upside down on her aerial silk or painting with oil paints, channeling her inner Bob Ross.
Tarra Flores Sloan is a California realtor, most recently voted best of the best realtor, three time #1 best selling author and cofounder Heart Entrepreneurs Association. Tarra has been featured in numerous news, magazine and best selling books as well as a recipient of awards for her work empowering women. Most importantly Tarra is a wife and mom of three.
KIERA (KC) KALUHIOKALANI
KC lives in the Greater Pittsburgh area and is the owner of urbanfitco, a woman-centric boutique in Sewickley, PA. Female empowerment is at the core of her values and she promotes that theme in her daily life. She uses her store as a vehicle for female empowerment, self-love, and body-positive through different projects, blogs/vlogs, and interactive workshops. In her free time, she also sits on the board of Explore Sewickley to give back to the community that has supported her.
Tracey has a passion for encouraging women to be the best that they can be by modeling self compassion. She has demonstrated selflessness in her efforts to enhance the professional aspirations of others. She’s consistently provides opportunities for aspiring authors and motivational speaking to share their stories in a safe environment.
Toshua Jarrett is the Chief Development Officer at Veterans Leadership Program, a non-profit that empowers Veterans to navigate the transitions of life.
Straight out of college, Toshua enlisted in the United States Army during the peak of the War on Terror. Toshua served as a Combat Medic in the historic 1st Infantry Divison, otherwise known as “The Big Red One.”
After honorably discharging from the military in 2013, Toshua started working at Veterans Leadership Program where she worked her way up to Chief Development Officer and has been paramount in the growth and impact of the organization.
Toshua has brought her service in the military back home as she continues to serve her fellow Veterans. Her passion and humility are evident in the way that she advocates and secures funding for those who need it most, local Veterans in need. In 2018, Toshua secured $1.1 million dollars in new grants and donations and $3.2 million dollars in renewal grants. Toshua’s successful development and fundraising efforts allowed VLP to serve over 3,400 Veterans and their households in 2018 with housing, employment, wellness and emergency assistance. Each day, because of Toshua’s impact, Veterans living on the streets are able to move into safe and stable housing, Veterans who are unemployed are able to receive job placement and readiness training, and Veterans who view suicide as the only option can receive support and care. Yesterday, VLP was also able provide a Veteran who was living on the street with a set of keys to a fully furnished apartment in under two hours due to one of the newly secured housing programs. Toshua’s efforts in securing and maintain funding truly changes Veterans lives daily.
Ta’lor Pinkston embodies self-love and female empowerment. She is a self-love activist, coach, inspirational speaker, and body-positive model. She meets women where they are on their journey of self-love and encourages them to do the work so they can fully love themselves. When she is not at work, she is speaking at workshops, interacting with women, and uplifting them. There is never a moment that Ta’lor isn’t exuding love and positivity. She manages a virtual support group on Facebook called “Healing Over Everything”, as well as provides 1-on-1 coaching for women.
Svava Brooks is a survivor of child sexual abuse and the co-founder of a nationwide child sexual abuse prevention and education organization in Iceland called “Blátt áfram.” She is also a certified instructor and facilitator for Darkness to Light Stewards of Children, as well as a certified Crisis Intervention Specialist, a certified Positive Discipline Parent Educator, a BellaNet Teen support group facilitator, a Certified TRE® Provider, and an Abuse Survivor Coach.
The mother of three children, Svava has dedicated her life to ending the cycle of child sexual abuse through education, awareness, and by helping survivors heal and thrive. She is a certified facilitator for Advance!, a program created by Connections to restore authentic identity. Every week, she writes about healing after trauma on her blog and also leads a discussion forum on child sexual abuse healing and recovery online, in her private Facebook groups and on her YouTube channel. She lives in Portland, Oregon with her husband, three children, and two rescue cats.
Shelly Hutchison became a registered nurse in 1991, focusing the first 17 years caring for critically ill patients in the neonatal intensive care unit.
When she moved on to work for a pediatric home care company, Shelly proved to be an outstanding manager and marketer. It was during this time she saw moms who were treating their epileptic children with marijuana – witnessing first-hand the incredible effects it had on reducing and even eliminating their seizures.
As her Mom became ill and was suffering from severe chronic pain, Shelly decided to pursue marijuana resources to help her mom. In fact, Shelly was able to watch her Mom’s comfort level improve to a level she hadn’t seen in many years.This is when Shelly embarked on her own journey to educate herself on medical marijuana, the endocannabinoid system and the science behind this wonderful plant.
During this time, Shelly also became ill and a patient of the medical marijuana program, which furthered her desire to help those suffering. Shelly realized she had to start her own company to successfully continue her mission. Medical Marijuana Specialists opened its doors in December of 2018
Samantha Roth is a Sophomore, Dean’s List Student at Point Park University where she is a BFA in acting major. She is involved in several college clubs including Strong Women/Strong Girls of which she was a nominee for the SWSG award, Copa Theater Club, and a member of Point Park singers. Sami graduated in 2018 from Lincoln Park performing arts charter school where was a musical theater major, national honor’s society member, and a member of student council. In Sami’s spare time she acts in local theater, dances, sings, plays piano, models, and does pageants.
Sami is currently Capital City Elite Miss. Through her titles she has spoken to several organizations about the Crown CARES which is an antibullying platform. Sami also continues to promote her platform of the Next Generation of Global Sisterhood. Sami is the Ambassador for the Next Generation of Global Sisterhood and through this position she encourages young women worldwide to volunteer in their communities. Sami is a 6 time gold presidential pin recipient, Sami has earned each pin through volunteering over 200 hours per year to various organizations including Butler County Headstart, Wands for Wildlife, Ronald McDonald House, The Sage Collector, March for Babies, Alzheimer’s Organization, The Heart Association, the Butler Library, Out of the Darnkness, The Vision Walk and many, many other organizations. Sami was a recipient of the Jr Women Of Achievement award for various community service in 2019.
Patricia Oberst is a former Respiratory Therapist and Clinical Liaison who served 35 years in the healthcare industry. Faced with the loss of her job at age 53, she found the courage to take control of her life and her children’s future by accepting an opportunity to own and build her own business.
Patty transferred her passion for healing into purpose driven entrepreneurship. She inspires countless women to to follow their dreams, to reinvent themselves and to leverage the opportunity she has to live life on their own terms and grow a legacy of love for their families.
Patty quickly rose to the top 2% in Rodan + Fields with her mantra – freedom, flexibility, fun, finances and family, and touches thousands of women in the USA, Canada and Australia. She exudes confidence, positivity, kindness, inspiration, discipline, a commitment to succeed and empower others to lock arms with her.
Patty’s an expert in starting over and reinventing yourself, no matter what the age. Her resiliency and strength help others believe that they too can improve their lives – as long as they can make the decision to do “whatever it takes” to succeed.
A mother of four, Patty suffered the loss of her second-eldest son Matt to a heart attack when he was only 23 years old. Her third son Dan has Down Syndrome and Patty devotes her life to him flourishing in his life. Her other children, Mike and Maggie have successful careers in the sport management industry.
Molly teaches how to get your message out using Facebook Live videos. This helps entrepreneurs around the world make a bigger impact and income than they otherwise would. She’s empowering solo professionals to come out of their comfort zone to reach their full potential.
In addition, Molly runs an open-mic night where singers can come to sing broadway show tunes and practice their art, building their confidence and growing relationships with others who love the same thing.
She also is a great parent and role model for her sons. I think this will contribute to ending the kind of toxic masculinity that men have been raised with so she’s contributing to making the world a more loving, respectful, and kind place.
As a female entrepreneur, she’s showing her sons that women are smart achievers and that’s just a great gift she gives them and the world.
Meg Huwar is the Principal of Brand Accelerator, a Pittsburgh based outsource marketing firm. Her business keeps her very busy but she also has a heart for helping others. She is a big supporter of The Education Partnership, a non-profit that provides school supplies to underprivileged students. She began working with them seven years ago as a consultant, and as she learned more about their mission she became a volunteer. This year she was asked to become a member of their Board of Directors and is helping to create the first ever teacher recognition event. She also helps them to promote the organization and has been instrumental in securing interviews for the Executive Director in the local media.
In addition, Meg supports the Cancer Caring Center and provides them with free marketing advice and volunteers at their events. Cancer has touched the Huwar family in a very personal way, so the mission of this organization is near to her heart.
This past year, Meg started a podcast called Marketing Monday’s with Meg. The idea of the podcast came about as many small business owners would tell Meg they wished they could work with Brand Accelerator, but they just didn’t have the money to do so. Meg felt that sharing her marketing knowledge, along with that of her guests, would provide business leaders with the tools they needed to generate results and grow their business.
After being introduced to the hill community development corporation through my employer William bercik Esquire of whom is on the bored. I meant marimba at the hill CDC interest meeting that was held in December 2 propose initiatives and retain board members and partners. She welcomed me with open arms and loved my ideas and every time I go to a meeting I am welcomed and feel inspired by marimba. She worked for several years without an income from the hill CDC and has risen d organization and the community of the hill to the highest standards possible for revitalization and keeping the community intact and making sure people are not being displaced and it is a blended community of all incomes and all races. She has successfully gathered funding both locally statewide federally and four major corporate sponsors of national proportions. I have an idea that is coming to fruition and marimba is behind me 100% well I’m still going through all the necessary documents and certifications I’m gaining the necessary cohorts I am also involved in the hill community and I loved every minute of it and it’s all because of her.
Everyday Mandi is helping businesses in our communities to make an impact and improve our communities. Mandi and the Chamber host quarterly meeting for our Impactful Women’s group which provides advocacy for various women’s issues and also provides a means to give back to various non-profits. In addition, Mandi runs her own marketing business, MP Marketing and PR, and is the Executive Producer for Spotlight on Pittsburgh.These provide many opportunities to reach out to more people, helping clients with marketing solutions, campaigns, digital marketing and more. Mandi’s cable television show provides a unique look at the people of Pittsburgh and the surrounding region. Mandi’s life is highlighted with her family; her husband and two precious boys! They keep her on her toes.
Jackie has combined her love of music and making people happy and is sharing them with the public. She and her duo partner entertain regularly at hundreds of Nursing Homes and Retirement Communities in and around the Pittsburgh area. Music has a way of bringing back memories to those who may have forgotten them and it also brings happiness and smiles to their faces. Jackie works tirelessly to make sure that all of her clients are given a fun filled and enjoyable performance. In addition to her performances, Jackie gives other local entertainers the chance to offer their talents to restaurants, clubs, wineries, country clubs and many other venues.
Farah Zulaikha is a beautiful, accomplished role model and modern cultural/fashion icon. Currently she is a United Nations Ambassador for the National Council Of Women Of The United States (NCWUS- a member of UN ECOSOC) & a delegate to the UN for the United Nations Association (UNA), an award-winning humanitarian, top model, writer, biomedical researcher, TV host, and classically trained violinist.
She has earned international recognition and influence in the realms of philanthropy, fine arts, fashion and media.

Cassie is a tireless volunteer in her community and is dedicated to supporting the small businesses of her town. In addition to running her own business – a business which she started from scratch and has grown steadily over the past 15 years or so – she also is co-owner of Underground Beaver, a grass-roots organization that brings a new event to her town every month in order to drive business to the downtown district and show others what a great town Beaver, Pa., is. She also organized and hosted several evening events in shops along the main street that gave young women the opportunity to meet other women business owners and ask them questions. She also sits on the board of the town library and Neighborhood North, a new children’s museum in the works for Beaver Falls, Pa. And for the past 12 years she has been a committee member of Beaver County BookFest, the largest non-profit book festival in the Tri-State region.
Andrea is a force to be reckoned with. She has a very powerful story that she is not afraid to share to help inspire other women to break free of counterfeit living, so they can truly start living. She has created an amazing organization dedicated to women all around the world so that they can grow their business on a budget. She inspires me every day to keep going even when I felt like giving up, she is my role model. She is always putting others first, I believe that it is time for her to know that she is greatly appreciated by all of her tribe members.
Laurean is passionate about helping individuals unlock the foundation keys to creating a business and life that is more than they had ever imagined. God has given her the ability to help call out the seeds of greatness in others and to encourage them to get out of the boat and step upon the water. Laurean would best describe herself as a Professional Encourager. Last spring Laurean held her first Launch Collective EXPO hosted by Pinpoint Publishing in Pittsburgh.
